Dear CBS Customer:
Re: SMA EMR Proposal
Last April the Saskatchewan Medical Association started looking for “preferred” vendors to provide Electronic Medical Records software. If a doctor sets up a paperless office using software from the SMA vendor list he is eligible for a few thousand dollars in funding.
We submitted our proposal however the SMA only let the Physician selection committee see the big packages from Alberta, BC and around the world. Too bad the SMA didn’t let the committee see Navicert – we know they would have loved it.
When the SMA Vendor list is released, will doctors be forced to switch programs? No. Your existing CBS Classic and CBS Navicert software remain 100% compatible with the Medical Services Plan specifications. You can continue to use CBS Classic or Navicert.
The big out of province companies charge as much as $120,000 plus annual fees as high as $15,000 a year or more. Government funding won’t even make a dent in these huge prices. And how long will the government funding last anyway? When the funding runs out, the doctor is on the hook for the whole bill. OUCH!
What if you want a paperless office WITHOUT the huge price tag? You can upgrade to our new Navicert EMR package. It’s easy to use and it starts at just $995 for a 1 doctor office. Pop over to our web site: www.saskcbs.com and get all the details.
Not ready for a paperless office yet? Relax. There’s no rush. You can always upgrade to Navicert later.
We have been providing quality health care software at down to earth prices in Saskatchewan for the past 25 years and we are looking forward to the next 25. Give us a call any time.
Sincerely,
Robert B. Hamilton DC.
