Complete Billing Systems is a privately owned Saskatchewan based corporation.  It was founded in 1984 by Dr. R. B. Hamilton.  Dr. Hamilton is a Regina area Chiropractor.  In 1984 he completed his training in Toronto and returned to Regina to set up his practice.  He was dismayed to find that, unlike Ontario, there were NO office based billing solutions available in Saskatchewan.  Dr. Hamilton wrote the first CBS package allowing he and his partners to bill MCIB directly resulting in a dramatic reduction in payment delays.

Word quickly spread about this amazing new computer program.  First several Chiropractic offices adopted CBS but it wasn't long until Physicians heard the news.  CBS was rewritten for use in the physicians office.  Since these early days, CBS has been rewritten a number of times to take advantage of evolving technology.  We aim to always stay one step ahead.

CBS was the first office based billing package available in Saskatchewan.  Our software was the first to submit billings on computer diskette.  CBS was the first package to submit claims by modem.  CBS was involved in successful testing of MCIB's early internet submission system and will continue to work with MCIB to improve this service.
