Internet submission eliminates the need for clunky old DOS programs and dial-up modems. It's MUCH faster and more reliable. It is a bit different and there is a set-up process that takes at least a week to complete. To switch to Internet submission you must have:
A reasonably up-to-date computer running at least Windows 95 but preferably Windows XP.
An "always on" internet connection either High Speed or High Speed Light from Sask Tel or a Cable Modem from Shaw or Access or your local cable provider.
Some version of Internet Explorer
A working Internet E-Mail account
You need to contact MSP and request the sign-up forms. Call the main number (306) 787-3475 and ask to speak to someone in Systems. Tell them you would like to submit claims by Internet. They will send out some forms for you to fill in and mail back. MSP requires an original signature.
Once MSP receives your signed forms they will send you an E-Mail message that contains a link to a web site. You will go to that web site and fill in an on-line request. A day later you will go back to that web site and download your digital certificate.
Once you have your digital certificate you are all set to submit your claims by internet.
When you make your first internet submission please call us for a bit of help.
When you pick up your first internet return file please call us for a bit of help.
We have had a number of customers who don't bother to call us. Then 6 months later they find they have been placing the return file in the wrong folder and the system has not reconciled claims properly. PLEASE call us!
